Saints on Parade Deep Dive

• Description: Every year, on November 1st, we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. Join us for a fun saint themed activity at home!

 

Directions for At Home-Activity

This year Saints on Parade is going virtual! Families are asked to research and create a saint(s) costume(s) at home. Then send us info on your chosen saint, along with a picture of you in your costume(s). We will put all of the pictures and info together for a video version of the Parade to be released later in the month. Please have your pictures and information submitted by Nov. 15th. See below for the two costume options.

Option 1: Dress-up as a Saint

• Pick a saint of your choice.
• Create a costume and dress-up as your saint.
• Note the following for your saint. 

          Feast Day: ?    
          Patron Saint: ?   
          Birth: ?  
          Death: ?
          Symbol of the saint:?
          Canonized: ?  
          Quote by the saint: ?
           Fun Fact?

• Take a picture of you in your saint costume with your saint info.

Option 2: Poster Board Saint 

• Pick a saint of your choice
• Create a poster board of your saint trace a paper plate to make the face for your saint
• Note the following for your saint

          Symbol of the saint:?
          Canonized: ?  
          Quote by the saint: ?

• Take a picture of your poster board saint with your saint info.
