Location in Church: Nave
There was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there…
Jesus told them, 'Fill the jars with water…Draw some out now and tale it to the headwaiter.' And when the head waiter tasted the water that had become
wine, [he] called the bridegroom." -John 2: 1, 7-9
This window, located on the right-hand side of the church, depicts the wondrous miracle of the wedding feast at Cana. Our Lady’s concern for plight of the newly married couple, when the wine ran out at their reception, is evident on her face, as our Lord instructs the waiters. Following his instruction, they fill six large stone jars with water to be taken to the head waiter, who tastes their contents, once water and now wine, and the best of wine at that!
